A Message to Our Elephant Park Members
It is with great sadness that we announce Fight City Gym Elephant Park is now permanently closed as of Monday, 13th July 2026, at 12pm.
This has been an incredibly difficult decision and ultimately one that was taken out of our hands.
Our Story at Elephant Park
Since opening in February 2022, the gym has never been able to operate at a profit. Throughout that time, we did everything we could to keep the doors open. This includes investing personally, reducing costs wherever possible, and relying on the generous support of our previous landlord, who subsidised and wrote off rent on several occasions.
We did all of this because we knew how much this gym meant to you, not just as a place to train but also as a community.
Sadly, rising operating costs, increased local competition, and the loss of that support have made it no longer financially viable to continue. Our current landlord has taken the property back due to our inability to keep up with rent and service charge payments.
Thank You
Firstly, to every member who has walked through our doors, thank you. Watching friendships form and seeing members begin their combat journey, compete, and win has been the most rewarding part of running this gym. We are incredibly proud of the community you helped us build.
Your Membership
Your membership remains active until the closure date, and you are welcome to train as normal until then.
Any unused portion of your membership will be refunded. Please do not cancel your direct debit, as doing so will delay your refund, which can take up to 10 working days to process.
If you hold a prepaid membership, we will contact you directly to arrange your refund.
If you pay through a third-party provider (such as a corporate benefit scheme), your refund will be handled in line with that provider’s process. We will work with them directly to ensure your membership is ended from the closure date.
Transfer Your Membership
We would love to keep you as part of the Fight City family. Members are welcome to transfer their membership to either of our other locations:

Class Packs
If you have a class pack, you have two options:
- Continue using your remaining classes at Moorgate or Balham until your pack expires
- Receive a refund for the value of any unused classes (subject to the pack not having been carried over or extended beyond its original expiry date)
